Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actor and narration. Duff has graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990, made her first television appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women & Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress who was born on October 8, 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actor from England. She first gained prominence as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. She then played The Virgin Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) as well as the lead character in the television series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was the role of Enigma in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters Notions on a Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2005). Her performances in Shameless the Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette garnered the BAFTA nominations in the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. She was also given her the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her performance in the television movie The History of Mr Polly.
